Cost: $189 + HST
This program blends in-class learning with a practical training component. Upon completion, participants will be knowledgeable about confined space requirements under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and will be able to recognize confined spaces, describe the major hazards, identify controls, and perform a confined space non-entry rescue.
Who Should Attend:
Personnel who are required to enter confined spaces.
Completion Requirements:
100% attendance, skills demonstration, and passing grade on knowledge evaluation.
Certification:
Each participant will receive a proof of training certificate upon successful completion.
NOTE: Refresher training is not specifically required in the Confined Spaces Regulation, but for a workplace that is not a project, a review of training is required on an annual basis and whenever there is a change in circumstances that may affect the safety of a worker who enters a confined space in the workplace, such as a change in process or hazard assessment.
