WILDERNESS FIRST AID RECERTIFICATION

COURSE DETAILS

Duration: 16-20 hours (taught in non-urban setting) with optional overnight stay
Cost: $249 + HST

Recertification of advanced level of wilderness first aid that covers material from the 20-hour Remote First Aid program, layering enhanced material on techniques to match challenging environments with varied risk levels. Course also offers strategies for providing extended care overnight on an expedition or multi-day trip in the wilderness.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a RECERTIFICATION course. We require proof of your Red Cross certification to register for this course. Your registered course date must be *within* the 3-year expiry noted on your certification. Transfers from training agencies other than the Red Cross are not accepted. Completion Requirements:

100% attendance, skills demonstration, and 75% min. passing grade on written quiz
